The Dr. Ellen G. Pressman Charter School of Plainfield, New Jersey provides a Middle School learning environment which integrates music with academic excellence. We provide students with thorough and applicable knowledge of the core curriculum while associating academic instruction with music concepts regardless of the student’s musical aptitude or experience. Most importantly, The Ellen G. Pressman Charter School instills in its students a life-long love of music, appreciation of beauty and respect for humanity.

We enlist the involvement of parents and community in programs to improve the educational opportunities and to aid students in developing social and character skills along with academic skills. This helps build their core competencies, self-esteem, personal discipline, respect for themselves and others.
